Assistant General Counsel Samantha Reid oversees all aspects of legal relations within the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

Samantha joined the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office in September of 2023. Prior to her appointment at the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office, Samantha worked for the Massachusetts Juvenile Court as a Law Clerk for two years. Samantha also has legal experience working with the Southcoast Youth Courts, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, Worcester District Attorney’s Office, and the U.S. First Circuit Court of Appeals. Samantha has a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Massachusetts School of Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a major in political science.
