Sylvester Raymond 1746-1761
Sylvester Raymond was a Justice of the Peace in Dighton, Massachusetts and oversaw numerous marriages. He married Abiah Eleirt on December 9, 1736. Sylvester Raymond served in the Revolutionary War as a Private. He served in Captain Thomas Whipple’s Company, Colonel James Converse’s Regiment. He marched with his company to Providence in July of 1777.
