Assistant General Counsel Edward Meyers oversees legal and civil service matters on behalf of the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

Edward joined the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office in September, 2023. Prior to working for the BCSO, Edward worked for the Connecticut Superior Court as a law clerk for three years. Edward has prior government service experience working with the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, the New Hampshire Department of Justice, and the Navy-Marine Court of Criminal Appeals. Edward has a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
