True Course is a unique, interactive youth outreach program operated by Bristol County Sheriff’s Office. The program focuses on providing positive youth development utilizing experiential learning combined with additional evidence-based youth frameworks. The target audience for this program are youth ages 10-14 who have been identified as needing an alternative hands-on approach for success. Group activities within the program utilizes a combination of year-round outdoor activities combined with workshop oriented events which focused on critical life skills. Program lengths vary for each individual, as success is determined on goals established by the team.

True Course Inmate Parenting Program |
The True Course Inmate Parenting Program is a 12 Month course that helps incarcerated parents who have children from infancy to 17 years of age within Bristol County. The program provides a way for parents to build and nurture relationships with their children and co-parents. The program focuses on building the inmate's parenting skills while connecting them with their family. Inmates are required to attend weekly parenting forums and educational sessions. . Once accepted into the program, inmates work with a facilitator who helps them achieve goals and provide support for their child. |
